Nestled between the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees, Girona is just 65 kilometres from the French border and 100 from Barcelona. Therefore, as well as its strategic importance in terms of commercial purposes, the city is an excellent starting point for getting to know the richness and variety of its landscapes.
