'MISTERIO DE ELCHE' MYSTERY PLAY The production of a play inside The Basílica de Santa María, in the town of Elche, provides a unique theatrical experience. It has been declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO, and consists of a 13th century Medieval lyric drama in two acts.
