It is well worth strolling around the cobbled streets of Fornalutx, a village which still preserves its architectural heritage intact. Abundan los buenos res- taurantes y las tiendas de ropa artesana o exótica. Conviene subir hasta la iglesia, junto a la que hay uno de los cementerios más hermosos del Mediterráneo, donde reposa Robert Graves. Sóller. Las calles de la comercial ciudad de Sóller están flanqueadas por casales señoriales de los emigrantes que hicieron fortuna en América o Francia. El Modernis- mo y el historicismo son emblemáticos de los edificios del Banc de Sóller y la iglesia de Sant Bartomeu, ambos en la animada Plaça de sa Constitució. Pollença. Pueblo amantede sus tradiciones, se enorgullecede hitos locales como la iglesia del Calvari —a la que se accededespués de subir 365 escalones opor carretera—, el puente romanoo Pont Romà y el Convent de Sant Domingo. Por el centro histórico, enormes casales y pequeñas tien- das de artesanos joyeros y ceramistas.

Modernism and Historicism are the emblematic styles of the Banc de Sóller building and the church of Sant Bartomeu, both of which stand in the lively Plaça de sa Constitució. Pollença. A village that loves its tra- ditions and is proud of local landmarks like the església del Calvari –a church to which access is gained by climbing 365 steps, or by road–, the Roman bridge or Pont Romà and the Convent of Sant Domingo. In the historic town centre there are huge manor houses and small shops belonging to artisan jewellers and ceramicists.
