1 One of Pamplona’s main attractions and a major part of Navarra´s culture is, without a doubt, its cuisine. Pintxos – they are like “tapas” but more elaborated – are one of the highlights of this gastronomic tradition. During the first weeks of May this festival gathers more than 100 bars participating, the closer to the capital, Pamplona, the highest the concentration. They create delicate, elaborate recipes that compete for one of the prizes awarded by the jury panel to verify the quality of the appetizer.
