1 The day of the “Almadía” of Burgui. Every spring a group of “almadieros” sail a section of the Esca River in unusual rafts created with trunks. Music, local dances, delicious food and other activities complement this festivity.

2 Witches “Akelarre” Sabbath. After the Summer Solstice, there is a festivity in Zugarramurdi, which combines; Celtic culture, witchcraft and the church. All these celebrations amalgamated with tasty food, dances and cultural exchange.

3 The Descent of the Witch. The last week of August in Vidángoz, the toy-witch Maruxa recreates the legendary foundation of the village, walking around and playing with visitors and locals.
