Just 10 kilometres from València you’ll find the Albufera Natural Park, where beaches and rice fields saw the birth of the traditional Valencian paella. This is one of the natural enclaves with the greatest environmental value in Europe, and a natural paradise for several species of birds.

A gem of civil Gothic architecture and the main emblem of the Silk Route. A large number of financial transactions were carried out within the Lonja (exchange) when the city was a reference point for maritime trade. It was declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1996. On Sundays the surrounding areas host a market for the exchange of stamps and coins from throughout the ages.
