FOLLOW THE SILVER ROUTE ON A MOTORBIKE Put on your helmet and get ready to enjoy the views on one of the loveliest motor cycling routes in Spain: the Silver Route , which goes from Gijón through several regions to Seville. This itinerary links the north and south of Spain and follows an ancient Roman road whose origins date back to the late Bronze Age. The whole route is 800 kilometres long, and can be done on a motorbike by fol lowing the modern A-66 dual carriage way or the classic N-630 road, with different speed limits and a less conven ient itinerary, but with very interesting landscapes. On this route you'll pass mountains, plains and rivers, and you'll go through the interior of several cities with the World Heritage designation (Salamanca, Cáceres and Mérida).
