T U R I A GA R D E N S

A huge architectural complex by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. But the buildings that make up the City of Arts and Sciences also offer guests 350,000m 2 of fun, science and culture: the Science Museum, the Palau de les Arts, the Hemisfèric and the Oceanogràfic.

Nine kilometres of leisure in its purest state on what was the course of the River Turia, which was diverted to the south of the city. The Turia Gardens are the green lung of València and offer sports facilities. The gardens are closed to traffic, enabling visitors to cross the city on foot or by bike, almost reaching the Mediterranean sea. To the east you’ll find the City of Arts and Sciences and the Bioparc is located to the west, the 100,000 m2 animal park that recreates different African ecosystems.
